We are on the lookout for a Web Application Developer with extensive experience in frontend and backend applications to join our Development team.

About the role

Reporting to the Software Development Manager, the Web Application Developer will be responsible for:

  • Developing high quality software and ensuring that projects and tasks are completed within agreed time frames.
  • Creating and maintaining project code in accordance with Infoxchange’s standards.
  • Actively coordinating application development projects and tasks with team members and other stakeholders.
  • Working on both legacy and greenfield applications
  • Applying and enhancing automated testing methods
  • Developing necessary project and application documentation
  • Contributing ideas and concept for applications and application development

About you

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • At least 3+ years’ experience in a hands-on web development role in a professional environment
  • A Tertiary or equivalent qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
  • Advanced knowledge of web standards: HTML, JSON, XML, CSS, DOM, JavaScript, etc
  • Advanced knowledge of PHP and Object-Oriented Application Development and Design
  • The ability to work in a team environment and effectively engage with internal working relationships, customers and partners.
  • High-level of communication skills and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexible and hard working
  • Passion for social justice and/or experience working in the not-for-profit sector.

The successful candidate will be subject to a satisfactory criminal records check.

A full driver’s licence may also be required.
